Stability Range
The stability range specifies how much a
displayed weight may change (in gradu-
ations), while the stability indicator re-
mains ON. When the displayed weight
changes beyond the allowable range, the
stability indicator turns OFF. A value of
0.5, 1, or 3 graduations may be selected.

• Higher values increase the response
time of the indicator but permit the
displayed weight to fluctuate within a
greater range.
• Lower values decrease response time
but limit the allowable range of fluctua-
tion in displayed weight.
In either case, the stability indicator is
ON and the displayed weight is con-
sidered stable as long as it is within the
selected range.
• When the RS232 interface is config-
ured to print stable data only, the
stability range also governs the data
output. Displayed data will only be
output if it is within the selected range.
To select a stability level:
Enter the desired level using the nu-
meric keypad, then press ENTER to
return to the scale submenu.
