Parts Counting
Parts counting enables you to place a
batch of similar parts on the platform
while the indicator displays the total num-
ber of parts. To use this function, the parts
must be reasonably uniform in weight.
The accuracy of your results will be deter-
mined by the error level that was entered
in “PC Err” of the scale submenu.

LFT NOTE: This feature is not available
when LFT is set to ON.
A press-on label (“PCS”) for parts count-
ing is included in the accessory kit. It
should be affixed to the blank button next
to the FUNCTION button on the keypad.
The following procedure assumes that a
container of some sort will be used to hold
the parts. If this is not the case, simply
ignore step 1.
1. Place an empty container on the load
receiver and press TARE to tare the
weight of the container, or
if the empty container weight is known,
enter the weight using the numeric
keypad, then press TARE.
2. If the average piece weight of a single
part is known, enter the weight using
the numeric keypad, press FUNC
then press PCSS and proceed to
step 4.
If the average piece weight is un-
known, place a sample number of
pieces in the container or on the load
receiver.
Enter container tare
weight if known.
Enter average piece
weight if known.
