Custom unit conversion factors are de-

fined in terms of the current calibration

unit:

Assume you wish to display weight in

Tons and the I150 is calibrated in pounds.

One ton = 2000 lbs, therefore the conver-

sion factor is 2000.

To enter the conversion factor, it must

first be converted to scientific notation:

“.2” is the mantissa (between 0.1 and 1),

and “4” is the exponent (power of 10)

Using this conversion factor, the I150 will

display 1 custom unit for every 2000 lbs

on the load receiver.

Example 2: OUNCES

Assume you wish to display weight in

ounces and the I150 is calibrated in

pounds.

One oz = 0.0625 lb, therefore the conver-

sion factor is 0.0625.

To enter the conversion factor, it must

first be converted to scientific notation:

“.625” is the mantissa (between 0.1 and

1), and “-1” is the exponent (power of 10)

Using this conversion factor, the I150 will

display 1 custom unit for every ounce on

the load receiver.
